Which network works where you are?
CanadaConnect compares the predicted cellular coverage of Bell, Telus, Rogers, Vidéotron and Eastlink and the regional networks (Sogetel, Cogeco, Ecotel, SSi Mobile, Kativik Regional Government, Orion Wireless, Xplore, and in 3G Ice Wireless and i-Mobile) in Québec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. The other provinces will follow.
- An address: the networks ranked from best to worst, with the predicted signal level.
- An area: cottage, campground, ZEC or hunting territory, the share covered by each network.
- Home–work: the best network for your days, at home, at the office and on the road.
- A trip by car, from one province to another, or by snowmobile and ATV in Québec: the signal kilometre by kilometre and the dead zones.
- Coverage gaps: inhabited or busy places that cellular service reaches poorly.
Brands without antennas of their own get the coverage of their host network: Fizz uses Vidéotron; Koodo, Public Mobile and Cogeco Mobile, Telus; Virgin Plus, Lucky Mobile and PC Mobile, Bell; Fido and Chatr, Rogers.
